I think the kids Ikea hacks are the most fun. Just the look on their faces when you present something awesome to them.

This train set/LEGO table is truly awesome! It might not be much to look at, but that’s not the point. It provides the perfect play and storage area for LEGO, train sets, board games, crafts.

I would probably add lockable castors on the bottom so it doesn’t move around when they’re playing on it.

Ikea MALM Mirrored Dresser Hack

Alright, I’ll be honest, this isn’t actually an Ikea hack. They had this specially made as a one off.

I believe you could still recreate it though with some mirrored adhesive vinyl and a (very) steady hand.

Ikea PAX Walk-In Closet Hack

Source: Erin Kestenbaum

This is a really impressive Ikea hack that took a little bit of effort to create. The base of the closet is an Ikea PAX wardrobe and they have built the rest of it around that.

The finished closet looks completely bespoke, but would have been far more difficult without the PAX wardrobe to start it off.
